Intro

A large outdoor sports retailer

Wanted to know what their customers thought about their stores and what they could do better. With their permission, I took their reviews off the web, and performed an analysis. 

Challenge

The reviews were not in an easily analyzed format, so I changed that. Then I used tools that analyze language to compare the words that were being said to the star ratings.  I correlated what was being rated directly to the revenue. I looked at the topics the customers were being talked about for each store location. I looked to see which employees were being named in the reviews. Finally, I made interactive dashboards for managment, so they could easily understand what was working, and not working so they could make changes. 

Solution

Management is able to easily click on the store they are curious about and immediately see what can be improved, as well as which employees are performing well. Which products might be overpriced, and which products customers are asking to see more of on the shelves.
